Trinity uses state-of-the-art information modeling software to produce accurate 3-D maps, create quantity takeoffs, quantity verification, topo verification, and to create as-builts. This modeling software creates quantities for earthwork and all structural sections (concrete, pipe, base materials, backfill, and spoils).
Trinity also uses the software to build 3-D models, which are ultimately used with GPS-equipped pieces of heavy equipment to assist in cutting to the proper line and grade. Some equipment has an automated ability to cut the grade, assuring first time compliance, which helps to reduce re-work.
