Trinity Grading’s roots trace back to the late 1960s, when Herschel “Pete” Lackey founded Herschel H Lackey & Sons, focusing on agricultural roads and custom home pads. In the late 1970s, his son Tim Lackey began working alongside him, developing a passion for earthwork. While the company initially specialized in house pads and ag projects, it quickly earned a reputation for quality craftsmanship and expanded into commercial, retail, industrial, and government work.
Today, Trinity Grading has grown into a full-service earthwork and utilities contractor. Now under the leadership of Tim’s daughter, Lisa Dufresne, who joined the company in 1999, Trinity continues to evolve—tackling complex projects with a commitment to quality, efficiency, and innovation. More than just moving dirt and installing pipe, we bring visions to life, build strong communities, and carry forward a legacy three generations in the making.
